UBISOFT, OFFICE DESIGN

This project proposes an office design for Ubisoft, a video game design company.

The office space is designed to foster interaction, exploration, and development among employees, clients, and users, ultimately enhancing the workplace experience.

Concept: DNA

DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the genetic code that defines patterns and unique traits of an individual. Evolving through generations, DNA adapts to create a new unique sequence of traits made of a blend from both parents to child.

CONCEPT APPLICATION: Inspired by the site, the project honors the past while crafting the future stories to blend the unique qualities of the users to the history of the built environment.

Location: The Jewel Box

Built in 1963, the Bacardi Imports Tower was commissioned by Facundo Bacardi as a new headquarters for the Bacardi beverage company. Collaborating with Cubian architect Enriques Gutierrez and artist Francisco Brennand, the building was brought to life. In 1973, the Jewlery Box, was added to the site to create an eye catching and gem to the area, designed by Ignacio Carrera-Justiz. In 2018, the admired architecture and history, the buildings were recognized by the U.S. National Register of Historical Places.

Connecting Stories, The Theater

From ideation to completion, departments collaborate across global and internal offices worldwide. Each phase — development, concept, design and production — plays a vital role in shaping the final outcome. The design establishes distinctive spaces that foster virtual connection, breakout collaboration and engagement among diverse internal and external user groups.

The interactive gaming theater concept allows gamers to be part of the process and showcase new games by providing feedback through testing early versions of the game. Through this feedback, developers are able to test new features, story lines and fix any flaws.
